Public Meetings

Two public meetings were held on the Riverfront Plan in the month of March.  Thank you for attending and for giving us your input.

  • The first meeting was an Open House held from 4-8 p.m. at the Pember Library on Thursday, March 11th.  This was an opportunity to learn more about the project on an informal basis.  Staff from Elan Planning and Design, as well as members of the project committee, were on hand to answer questions and discuss your thoughts on the project.
  • There was also a formal Public Visioning Workshop held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st, at Village Hall.  Members of the public were invited to participate in a brainstorming session, facilitated by Elan Planning & Design as well as the project committee. This was a great opportunity to make your voice heard.

If you weren’t able to attend the meetings, please feel free to leave your feedback on this page.  Thank you!

The Mettowee River Revitalization Strategy (MRRS) is a local waterfront planning project funded by the Village of Granville and the New York State Department of State, Division of Coastal Resources. The project will develop a revitalization strategy for the Mettowee River and Indian River waterfront to enhance recreational access, connect downtown and riverfront resources, and encourage revitalization of commercial and residential properties.
